2006 RX 350 all interior lights flicker when Igniton turned off
when the IG is turned off and key removed , all interior lights flicker for a min or so. You can hear the relay chattering down in the footwell. When you enter the car, the interior lights come on and do not flicker. It is only when the IG is turned off you get the chatter for a period of time. You can turn off the interior lights, but the relay in the footwell still chatters.

UPDATE: the relay chattering is not behind the kick panel, it is in the RHS front door (this is a RH drive car in Australia, so not sure if wiring is the same as in the USA)
Anyone have a wiring diag for what is in the doors?

FIXED!!!! I had noticed that the time the lights flickered depended on how long the car was driven. Reversed out of the garage, they only flickered briefly. This morning i had a sudden "turn the light on " moment. I had a USB mp3 player plugged into the aux socket at the bottom of the dash and thought maybe the small battery in it is feeding back through the charger and energizing the relays i hear clicking, but does not have the power to hold them on, so they "click" until the battery is flat.
I unplugged the MP3 unit, went for a drive and FIXED!. The battery was feeding back thru the charger and causing the problem. I will try a different adaptor and see if the problem is still there, otherwise I will just unplug the adaptor when not in use. (A diode could also be fitted in line with the adaptor lead to fix the problem )
