I use Innova 3100abs scanner and got 16 enchanced DTC codes.
Hi,
I just bought an used 2009 RX350. Before I start, there is no check engine lights on. When I play with my Innova 3100abs scanner, I got 16 enchanced DTC codes. Yes, sixteen of them. I'm really scared. These are P0300 P0171 P0172 P0174 P0175 P0100 P0102 P0103 P0125 P043E P043F P0441 P0451 P0455 P0456 P2401. And they can't be cleared. But there is no MIL light on. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks

Is the car running normal? Seems like misfires and evap leak codes.
I have never used that scanner before so I can't say much on it but if your CEL is off, you usually should not have to worry unless the car is running rough. The ECU will store intermittent DTC's but only when they are stable will the CEL come on which you should then worry. But if it brings peace of mind, I'd say have it checked using Toyota software. My cars store a few intermittent DTC's here and there which I check with Techstream but they all run fine and pass emissions.

Definitely have it checked before your smog test. I see you are in California and they are much stricter than me in Illinois.
I can also suggest this since you do not have techstream. Use at your discretion, I do not assume liability if you do anything wrong, CEL comes on, or you do not pass smog. You can remove the battery for about 30 minutes to try to reset the ECU and clear the codes. Once you reinstall the battery, do the window reset procedure and drive it around for a bit for the ECU to relearn your driving habits and run through all the sensors. Then when you get back, scan the car. See if anything shows, you may need to scan it again in a few days as it takes some random driving to get all the sensors up. This has worked occasionally for me, sometimes the codes never come back and sometimes it's the trigger to the CEL staying on. Your mileage may vary.
