Default Mirror , mirror on my Rx...

Not sure if my Rxh has it or not or maybe it needs to be activated by dealer/techstream but on my wifes Rx, when she reverses, the side mirrors tilt down. This does not happen on my Rxh. My question is : was this not available on my model at new , was it deleted in software(can't imagine why) or is mine broken? My mirrors move fine in all directions manually and when i hit the seat/mirror presets.
As an aside my wife's DS mirror does not move up or down ; preset or manually. It did until a few months ago(before it got cold) and i have been investigating remedies that i will attempt in the spring. For anyone with such a problem , there is an excellent right up on repair:

i just reread my post and some may get confused. My wife's mirror stopped while it was warm outside. It did not stop because of cold. The reason i bring this up is that some people have experiences where they think the cold was the factor in their mirrors not working. Not the case with me/her.
thanks.

The side mirror tilt down only works when you leave the mirror control switch in the left or right position. If you leave it in the middle, the feature is deactivated. Maybe that's it...

Now that's a useful piece of information. Mine have always poked down so I can see if the kids are out there playing with the tires while I'm backing up, or if the boat is going off the ramp (haha). Now I know it's just because I'm not **** enough to always pop it back in the middle when i'm finished messing with the mirrors like I should. It's a "sloppy man's" feature!
