Hey CL.
Recently I've had problems with my Moonroof in my Lexus Rx400h. It will not close properly. I tried to reset it by turning the car to "ON" and holding the tilt button, but it doesnt even move. I think it may have to do something with an obstruction as i tried to open the moonroof when there was a layer of ice on top of it. But there isnt any obstruction anymore. It doesnt tilt properly, and when i try to close it, it hits the wind protector and opens right back up. The only way i can close it is if i hold down the wind protector from outside and close the moonroof. I;ve thought about disconnecting the battery, but im not sure if thats the best option. So i thought id create this post because all the other moonroof posts seem to be different from mine.

looks like it's hitting the arm of the wind protector. I would check to see if the wind protector is loose, and snug up any bolts or fasteners. I will check mine in the morning to see what position the arm should be in.
