TPS Range on RX330

TPS Range on RX330
With key on, engine off, my TPS range goes from 15% with foot off the pedal to 49% when gas pedal is fully depressed. Actually, it reaches 49% about 2/3 of the way down and the last 1/3 or so doesn't move it past 49%. When I manually move the throttle plate to WOT it reads way past 49%.
Can you please check the range of your TPS when gas pedal is pushed all the way down? Hook up an OBD scanner, look for the TPS parameter, and with key turned to ON and engine not running, step on the gas to see how high the TPS% goes.
I swapped out the the throttle body and sensor but got the same behavior. I see full scale voltage at the sensor when the gas pedal is fully depressed so now I'm not sure if this is normal behavior or there is something wrong elsewhere. FSM suggests TPS should read close to 90% at WOT. Please share your thought or provide your measurement for comparison.

I connected my OBD reader to my 07 RX350. The car had not been driven today and the outside temperature is upper 50s.
Closed throttle was 17.9% initially, but after 5 minutes or so it dropped to 15.2%. Floored pedal was 48.7%. I did this multiple times and the numbers were consistent with the exception of the initial closed throttle readings.
I experimented and at what I estimated to be quarter throttle I got 24.1%. At maybe 1/3 throttle, 32%. Half throttle 48.7%.
Hopes this helps you.

That is helpful indeed. Thanks for taking time to check. This is consistent with mine so I supposed mine is good. The FSM left me scratching my head as I chase a P0171/P0174 lean code. The spec states:
Throttle fully closed: 10 to 24 %
Throttle fully open: 64 to 96 %
Read value with ignition switch ON (do not start engine)
I guess it makes no explicit mention of using the accelerator pedal to open the throttle so the FSM is still correct. When I manually open the valve with my hand I do see numbers close to the maximum and when I floor the gas pedal when accelerating from a stop I see it momentarily reach high 80% so it must be OK then. Thanks again for your help.
