Default How to remove rear tail light

I have a 2007 Lexus RX 350 and want to replace the whole bulb house. I already purchased a replacement online, but don't know how to remove and replace it.

This is the tail light cover I'm referring to

You have to remove the cargo cover in the trunk area for that side. They have some clips and some screws underneath the folding hooks. Pull those out and the cover will come right off.

On a side note, why does your car say RX300 on it? lol I thought RX300 was first generation only and you have a second generation RX

I think I just used the 10mm wrench that comes with the car. It has to be small enough to fit into that hole and obviously has to be taken slowly due to not enough room for a full arc of travel.

IIRC, there are 2 10mm nuts and 1 8mm nut. I had to use deep well sockets becusr the threaded studs were too long for regular sockets.

The car in the picture is most likely a European Version. Chech the blocked out license plate area. It has the body style of an RX330, but the engine is most likely a 3.0 liter.
