Angry Anyone want a wife!!!

I swear , she's killing me.Went out in her Rx350 tonight and on the way home(we left in daylight) i thought the headlights seemd odd.Looked uneven. So i pull into the driveway, keep the car running and go to the front.Driver's side is fine but, what, passenger side is 'pinkish'! High beams are good on both sides. So i asked her if she noticed and she said 'oh yeah, I thought they looked funny' but of course did she say anything? Noooooooooooo! Honestly. Thanks for the rant.
Now i have to ask is this a ballast issue or can i just buy a bulb? What causes this ballast to go? How long can you expect them to last?
Thank you. If i end up in jail please bring smokes!!

I am not going to answer your question, just happened to me many years ago,I was driving my wife car ,doing that every few months to check it out,and that damn rotors were so badly shot that the steering wheel vibrates more than two inches right left on braking and guess what I NEVER HEARD ABOUT IT FROM HER😀😀😀

Ya i don't blame you. She's the best thing that happened to me but man she can be frustrating! I'm sure most have similar stories(maybe that could be a thread!?)

Okay, so it looks like I'm stuck with her(or is it the other way around?) BUT what about the headlights?

Can she cook and clean? My wife would love the help. If so I'll start the bidding at $50. I'm used to the non-reporting thing so that won't bother me any.

My wife calls me her Alfa, Honda, and Lexus widow, so yes I can relate.

You need a new HID bulb only I think.

A few years ago my daughter just came home in the Highlander. As she pulls into the driveway I can smell something burning. I didn't see any smoke but I knew there was something up. As I walked around the car I felt that the front driver wheel seemed to emanate heat. I touched the wheel and almost burned my finger off. The caliper was glowing red! Turns out the caliper was frozen stuck and grinding the entire time. She had no idea. Luckily it didn't set the tire on fire.

well, i've got the bulbs and tried to do them last night. Arghh!! How the heck is this so easy? I finally got the cover off and managed to get it barely out of the way and then unlocked the connection to back of bulb butCANNOT GET HARNESS OFF BACK OF BULB! I read you have to wiggle it , pivot it off .Short of taking the WHOLE assembly out, how can i get room in there to do this damn thing? I'd hate to be a defensive lineman with huge hands trying to do this! I noticed that pn gen 3 Rx's they have put the bulb on the inside of the high beam . I think i know why now.
Come on now, give up all your little tricks. PLEASE!

Thanks 5W, i've seen that video and many more.I had a really hard time getting the connector off the bulb as i was scared that I'd break something.Having completed this today , I now know how much pressure to use, how to flip instead of pulling the connector. As others have said next time should be quick but seriously could it be any tighter in there. Some of the vids i saw made my year('09) look nothing like theirs.
THE ONLY THING I WOULD ADD IS TO BUY QUALITY, QUALITY BULBS. you don't want to be doing this prematurely due to cheap product. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.
