2004 RX330 sunroof controls do not work at all after battery change

Changed battery in 2004 RX330 (have done this twice before with no problems resetting windows and sunroof). This time windows reset fine, but now the sunroof switches do nothing - will not even actuate in order to use the reset procedure. Checked sunroof 30A fuse and it is okay. What else can I do?

You sure you checked the right fuse?

Yes the 30A was the right one, but I also found out that there is an additional fuse (7.5A) for the sunroof ECU so I need to check that one and have not had the chance. It's hard to get to under the driver's side instrument panel.
