Default 2004 Lexus Rx300 Navigation map update?

My mom has been complaining about the navigation map on her 04 Rx300 being out dated. I've checked on ebay and found some navigation map update CD's for the lexus rx300. What is the latest version? If i want to undate to the current map, do i need to get a navigation disc for a newer year rx300?

Will this one work?

Are you sure you have an RX300? For the US, the RX300 was replaced by the RX330 in 2004. If you have an RX330, then I recall the latest update is V15.1, not sure what the previous generation RX300 uses.

I think it might be a rx330 instead. This is my mom's car and she doesn't live with me so i'll have to go make a double check on it. Thanks for the input.

RX300 and 2004 RX330 use Gen 2/3 Navigation disk. The latest disk is ver. 13.1 If you have an RX330 2005 or later then your Navigation disk is Gen 4 and the latest disk is ver 15.1

The Navigation disk from your link is ver 9.1 which is pretty old and most likely no better than the one in your mom's car.

Things like "up to date" navigation disks do not exist. Takes a year to produce one and you see all the construction everywhere you drive? Disk is outdated by the time it left the press, so why bother? Large display smart phone with Waze or, at least, Google maps beats any disk nav hands down. And no, it does not take that much bandwidth to be worried about. Waze is actually very frugal on Gb use.

Oh, and with Google assistant you don't even need to punch keays on the phone. Just say "Take me to ......".
