RX330 Anti-Lock Brake Issue
2005 RX330 with 120,000 miles developed ABS malfunction as follows:
While traveling at highway speed and after about 1 to 2 hours running, ABS seems to decide by itself to start braking on a braking-release-braking-release sequence, obligating me to stop on highway shoulder. After several instances I found our that by turning off the engine and on again, this issue immediately clears by itself.
Additional tips:
This problem has not presented itself at low speed (25 - 45 mph);
This problem does not presents itself every time I drive on highway; It has happened 4 times in the last 10 months.
This problem typically does not replicates itself in the same trip, but it does once-in-a-while.
Any help shall be highly appreciated,
Thanks
Alberto

Take out wheel speed sensors and clean them.
Get ABS/CAN BUS compatible scanner and read brake/ABS codes.
Remove ABS fuse after cleaning for about 15 minutes. Also, main ECM fuse. Matter of fact, you should have several ECM fuses, just pull them all out (marked) and re insert after half an hour or so.

i have the same year and mileage, my indy mechanic wanted to replace the ABS speed sensor right front, even though there were no warning ABS lights on the dash. i was confused cause that ABS light usually comes on for any thing related to breaks, but for now kinda got away with out the replacement, guess he just cleaned it cause i got no issues.
