Default Seeking repair advice

I have 2004 RX330 and recently I got into an accident and it has damage on front bumper and hood.
Other car's insurance company has accepted liability and going to estimate damage.
Does anyone have experience with dealing with insurance to get everything OEM replaced?

I have had 3 minor things fixed in 20 years (other people hit me). I never asked about oem,
an 04 is an older car (I have one( . be careful, at some point a "minor" repair will total tthe car, almost had that issue on a 99

They won't do OEM. They do "OEM or equivalent" and OR is key word. Unless it's a part licensed to Toyota only and can't be purchased aftermarket.
Why are you relying on the other driver insurance to do estimate? Unless you have liability only. otherwise, YOUR insurance should take care of everything. Including rental for you, etc. I was in car accident few months back, found that I actually didn't have rental coverage and the other driver insurance provided it for me.

OK. Got it.
I am on same boat as you. Car has 127K miles and 2004 so i only have liability.
Yes other car's insurance gave me rental. Hoping they would just fix it. Car was in awesome condition before accident. would be sad if they total the car.
