2007 RX 350 passenger side axle removal
I'm trying to remove the Axle from the passenger side on this RX350 2007. I have everything on the outside removed and the clip is out of the intermediate bearing but it wont budge. I have a long punch and a 3lb hammer that I'm hitting the inner CV with to push it out but no luck. Am I missing something?
Thanks
Larry
P.S.
I also have the set screw out that holds tension on the intermediate bearing.. My book does not have the torque called out for that bolt so I;ll need that if anyone knows it.
Update: Snap on Air chisel that I thought might jar it loose from the back side had no effect.
Thanks
Larry

Kona, Thanks for the data. This is a 2WD.
Ukrkoz, Yes I have the clip out, That was the first thin I did.
I guess I'm just going to take the intermediate mount out and either press it out or heat it. That one bolt behind the CV is going to be slow go.

I finally got the right side Axle out. I heated the intermediate bearing housing 4 different times with MAP gas torch, cranked the compressor up to 180 PSI and kept hammering with an air chisel. It had just enough rust on the OD of the bearing to make it feel like a press fit.
I decided to do ball joints and control arms and service the trans fluid while I was in there and not waste an alignment. I sure wish Lexus had moved those motor mounts forward just a little instead of covering one of the control arm bolts up. That turned a 30 min. job into 3 hours.
Thanks for the comments guys.

Control arm bolts are easy. You remove all bottom nuts and bolts for engine/transmission mounts and jack entire power train up, with hood open. It gives enough clearance to get to CA bolts and get them out.
