Default Use XM Satellite Antenna Aftermarket Stereo

Going to take the plunge soon and install and aftermarket stereo in my 2008 RX 400h. Anyone ever connect their aftermarket stereo to the installed XM Satellite Radio antenna? If so, any info on how you did it would be great!

The XM radio is a flat silver colored box that plugs into the back of the Lexus radio. The standard XM radio antenna made by Sirius is used by Toyota/Lexus and plugs into the box. It is a skinny little wire and just pulls out. It may be stiff, but it pulls out. It is not threaded or anything.

The aftermarket radio should have the same connector on it.
