Hi everyone - bought Techstream and mVCI cable to allow me to program in a 2nd set of TPMS sensors on spare set of wheels. Installed software and got it to connect to vehicle. Entered in codes and got error message after first attempt to enter in 4 TPMS codes for spare set (wanted 5 but only have 4). Tried to go into "Data List" in Techstream and Techstream crashed. Worked with seller and downgraded from Techstream v13.00.022 to v12.20.024. Error code received is C2127 (see photo).
TPMS light in dash now flashes for 1 minute and stays on solid after that. Re-entered 2nd set TPMS codes in v12 and "data list" screen shows all TPMS sensors are working and reading pressure, temp, and voltage (see other photos). Have tried using Initialization button under steering wheel (press and hold until TPMS light blinks 3X) and cannot get TMPS light to blink even though Techstream knows the button is pushed (Init switch status changes from OFF to ON). Tire set selection switch under glovebox works fine. Also tried jumpering from CG to TC on OBD connector for 30 sec with no impact to solve problem (TPMS light blinked slower while jumpered but did not go out when jumper was removed).
99% sure that the sensors, Techstream, and the mVCI cable are fine - just need to get dash light to reset. Any known solutions?
Thanks in advance for your help
I have a 2008 Lexus ES-350. I replaced the tires and installed five new Denso TPMS sensors. I registered the sensor ID's with Techstream 12.10.019 and all five pressures and temperatures displayed correctly in the List Data screen; however, I got the error code C2127 "Transmitter ID not received (2nd)". The tire selection switch was in the Out position for the main set of tires since I only have one set. Techstream seemed to indicate that I had two sets of tires and I didn't know how to tell it I only had one set. I registered the same sensor ID's for the second set of tires and now the tire pressure dash light is off and there are no error codes.
So, I had the exact same problem with a 08 Lexus Is250. C2127, was the reoccurring DTC after I reprogram all the OEM sensors. After I drove the car for 10 minutes, I again went through the process of registering my IDs through Techstream. When it prompted me Main or 2nd set, I chose main, click next, then selected Main set using the TPMS button on inside of the car left of the steering wheel and proceeded to put in all 4 of my IDs. I repeated the same steps for the 2nd set. Then I turn the car off and on, held the TPMS button for about 5 seconds, and finally the code cleared itself and the TPMS light disappeared.
I know this thread is old I have a problem with 2012 Lexus ES350 I am trying to register and initialize the tpms. I am getting a C2127 code and it is not initializing. As far as I know the sensors are registered to the vehicle including the spare tire per my tpms tool ( techstream)( I replaced all new sensor)Also disconnect battery and recalibrate all 5 tires and enter 2 set of tires same as main set and still get code C2127 .Need help

You also switched the button under the glove box to "Main?"
Your car might be different from the RX, but there's also ANOTHER "Reset" button for the TPMS under the dash under the steering wheel. Have you tried that?
