Default 2008 RX 350 AC stopped working when new battery installed.

I had a new battery installed and the positive terminal had corroded away so it had to be replaced as well. After that the AC won't work. I searched the web and forum for answers and don't find any information related. I know the RX is sensitive to the battery and windows etc go crazy if not done right. But the AC blew perfect when I handed the keys over for battery to be swapped out, and now nothing. Controls work, but do nothing and air don't blow. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I need to take the car on a road trip in two days and gonna be ugly with no air movement.

Figured out what was wrong. I have a new blower motor and replaced the resistors year or so ago so I swapped the blower motor and nothing, so I plugged the old one back in and swapped out the resistor with the old one and it started working. So it appears to be the resistor so I have a new one on its way because the old one acts stupid and would stop working when weather is hot.

and what would have possibly been the connection between battery swap and resistors in blower... oh the glory to modern electronics in cars.....

Not sure why or what the battery has to do with the ac in the RX but since 2008 When I got my RX350 from the dealer the battery has been a mind blowing esperience. I kept telling lexus about the ac acting funny, windows were acting stupid, and several other odd ball electrical items just not working or acting weird and I got a call and they told me the battery had a cell that was starting to go bad and they swapped the battery for a new one under warranty and everything worked good. The service rep told me the RX was like that and if stuff started acting funny to check the battery. Luckily I received my new resistor in the mail today and gonna try to get it installed tomorrow. Not hard, just have to be a contortionist which is hard to do when you have a bad spine. Just have to drug myself up and just go for it.

Now on to the next issue, the stupid traction control flashing and beeping for no reason.

2008 Lexus RX350 bought January 2020
Need help. AC was serviced and worked ICE COLD. After a week it stopped working.
AC shop hooked up pressure gauges, didn't inspect car, after 2 minutes said i need to replace condenser. $1,200 job.
they never looked at the car or checked for leaks or even look at the compressor. I asked him to show me where the condenser was, he pointed at the radiator. I knew i at this point i was being Fooled. I'm in Curacao no other shops. Any ideas what is happening? it is electrical or mechanical?
Blower still blows, Lights up when i hit AUTO. Just blows ambient air.
Is this a fuse or relay possible issue ? An electrical issue from Battery?
HELP! New to Lexus! I need help

Possibly sounds like whoever you bought the car from.....dealer/private owner knew the a/c system had a leak somewhere & added a can of refrigerant from a autoparts store & got it working. I wouldn't think hooking up a/c gauges would do anything but tell you it wasn't working. If its not blowing cold, I'd think I'd put the system under a vaccum to see where it leaks or add a dye & recharge the system, but then your wasting refrigerant. Very well could be the condenser which is in front of the radiator.....Sounds like they'd swap out the condenser & recharge the system. Really best to start your own new thread vs riding the coattails of someone else's thread.........
