Default Auxiliary adapter for 2007 RX400h

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out the best way to play music from my phone (pixel 2xl) through rx400h speakers. Is there a way for me to install an auxiliary adapter with a bluetooth connection?

hello what you need is the BT45-toy adapter for Lexus and Toyota www.usaspec.com about $140 on amazon
Will put Bluetooth and aux into the 400 h while keeping your stock steering wheel controls and able to keep the 6 cd changer and other stock items operational
I got a 3 ft usb aux usb extender and hooked it to the toy adapter .
Drilled out a spot next to the lighter and installed the extender and it gives me a usb for charging and a aux port
Also pairs with your phone and you can play i heart radio spotify ect

This looks really cool and never knew about it. Does it utilize your existing mics/bluetooth though? I see it comes with some sort of microphone and wouldn't want to hook that up but utilize my existing one...

Thanks! I think this is my best option since I don't want to use a cassette auxiliary connector. How is the sound quality coming from the bluetooth and the aux connection?

Hi It cant use the car Bluetooth The car by its design will Bluetooth only with your phone for receiving or calling. Safety of Lexus I guess
Sounds fine and aux sounds as the factory audio does as all of its sound goes through the adapter and then through the car audio Amp equalizer ect
Here is the adapter usb aux I used The bluetooth mic is for the adapter as it is under the radio The usb port is for charging only
I routed the mic cable under the steering wheel lower plastic and up the door pillar and tucked wire under headliner and put mic right next to the mirror mount
Not noticeable at all

For our 2007 RX400h

I purchased this: https://www.gtacarkits.com/product/l...phone-aux-kit/

Works flawlessly! Ads HiRes Bluetooth and aux input. Steering wheel control and all other functions remain the same.
only difference is it answers your phone and places calls for you, instead of through the car. The included (and easily installed microphone) works much better and people say the clarity of my phone calls are greatly improved.

Phone pairs automatically after a few seconds and music (Spotify) plays without a hitch. Sound is great!

Took me a fill 20 minutes to install with included video.

Just my 2 cents, YMMV.
