Was at my local dealership today (Sewell) getting my free wash and decided to stroll the lot - it was a sunny day and I wanted to check out the new inventory. I noticed an RX330 in a color I hadn't seen before - At first I thought it might be the Flint Mica cause it looked sorta grey, but when the sun hit it it gave off a greenish hue. I looked at the window sticker and darn if it didn't say Black Forest Pearl.
When I initially started shopping for my RX330 I thought I wanted the Black Forest Pearl - I like green and my fave sports team wears dark green (see avatar) but I never saw one in person - I'd only seen the pix on the website. And after seeing it today I'm glad I didn't get it - it looks nothing like the website - I went back again and looked at www.lexus.com and it's very deceiving. On the web the Black Forest Pearl LOOKS green and the Flint Mica looks grey - but in person they both look grey, the Flint is a bit lighter and gives off a different accent when the light hits it. Kinda like the Breakwater Blue which gives off multi-colors in the light.
anybody else seen a Black Forest Pearl in person?

In the color poll here, there are now a grand total of two owners with this color, so it's safe to assume that at least they've seen it...
I have not seen one at my dealer as yet. Green shades were kind of a hot color a few years ago, but you don't see too many new ones being sold today (Exceptions: very "bright" greens on VW Beetles and Dodge Neons, almost all of which are being driven by younger females).
