Default Power windows

I am having a issue currently with my right rear power window. The window will go up and down with the power switch at the right rear door; but; it will no longer work with the switch on the drivers seat panel controls for the power window on that side. Every other window works just fine with the power window switches on the drivers panel except the right rear one. What could be the issue here? This is on my 07 rx350

The power window switch for right rear door on driver's panel is a likely culprit.

This seems to be a problem that crops up if you replace or drained the battery on your Lexus.

You need to do a power window reset on the right rear power window.

The way to do that is to roll the right rear power window up and down 5 times using the power window switch at the right rear door.

After doing that you should be able to control the right rear power window from the driver's pw control panel.

I will try that thanks but I haven’t drained the battery recently and all the other windows work fine at the drivers control panel. What if that doesn’t work then what? Cause as I said the other windows work fine

you have to start some where, and rule things out

Do the power window reset, it is easy, and may fix the problem. If it doesnt, the next logical thing to check is the actual switch.

As it turns out the first place I went to to get a estimate for my power steering issue apparently did the reset. So it works now

This how you reset the 2nd generation RX windows. Go to the door that is having problems. Using the windows switch to roll the windows down pass halfway, then roll the windows back and keep on holding the switch in the up position for at least 2 seconds after it is all the way up. Now go to the Master switch on the driver side door and see if the windows will roll up and down.
