Default What? Rear seats recline?

I had no idea until today the rear seats in the 2nd Gen reclined. I don't remember reading about this feature in the manual but maybe I overlooked it. Did anyone here know this?

We all don't know. Mind sharing how to do it with the rest of the class? I've got an 08 RX.

you use the same lever you would use to fold the seat forward, but rather than pulling the seat toward the front of the vehicle to fold it, you lift the lever and push the seat toward the rear of the vehicle. There are a couple of positions between normal upright (what it locks into when you fold the seat up) and the reclined position.

I checked the manual and it doesn't mention this other than calling that handle the seat back angle lever.

Other hidden gems, have you found the center console handle in the cup holder that permits the
entire console to slide forward and back? Purse room or rear seat leg room, you got it! How about
turning the key in the driver's door lock cylinder to roll up and close all the windows and the sunroof?
Try pressing and holding the unlock button on the remote...rolls down and opens the windows/sunroof
to vent the car on a hot day. Did you notice that pressing the right side "tune" button on the radio will
bring up the tone controls... and they are source specific? Boost the bass on FM, boost the midrange
on AM, jack the bass and treble on your CDs.

I read somewhere that if you remove the head rest of the front passenger seat and move the seat all the way forward and recline the back portion down, it will create a lounge for the back seat person....

Yes, there is a picture in the manual of this. Oddly, it shows both front seats folded flat. Not exactly sure why you would want to do that to the drivers seat. Maybe if you are 9ft tall it let's you drive from the back seat?

When I buy lumber, I do that with the passenger seat so I can fit it inside the car for the drive home.

The back seat of my Camry was a lot wider and flatter compared to the backseat of these RX.

Ask me how I know.

In case there are 2 in the SUV & they both need to nap at a rest stop.
