Default Rear Valve Cover Replacement (aftermath)

Hey all,

My first post post in this forum needing a bit of help and advice

I recently completed the replacement valve covers for the front and rear. However in the process of moving the wiring harness, I’ve snapped the wires going into the sensor just below the rear valve cover on the RHS. It’s making the car idle quite lumpy and the fuel efficiency is much worse.

To fix this I want to replace the sensor, does anyone know the part number or are all the oxygen sensors the same? Or is it worthwhile for me to try and resolder the wires back to the plug?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Is it the AF sensor you are talking about?
Sensor side or wiring harness side connector you "snapped'?

I’ve snapped the wiring harness side of it. The actual wires going to the sensor. The sensor is still plugged in just no wires going into it. It’s located behind the rear cylinder bank on the RHS (drivers side in Australia) under the windshield cowl.

Got a pic?
Maybe you can re-attached it back in the connector if the pins are still intact.
Not sure how much damage was done.
Hoping it still can be saved.

Ill see if I can get a pic soon, from what I remember the wires came clean out of the connector. Is this sensor wired directly into the harness or does it run somewhere seperate?
