Does a weak battery cause my ABS, VSC, Brake and AFS lights to come on?

Hi a few days ago when I started my 07 rx350 awd in the morning my abs VSC brake and AFS lights all came on. I took it to the shop by my work but I have to wait a week for their availability. During this week I noticed my battery was weak, so I went ahead and put in a new battery. A day later all the lights turned off.
Has this ever happened to anybody? Why would a weak battery cause those lights to come on? also do I still need to take it to the shop or do you think the battery was really the problem? Thanks!

Yes, weak battery causes lots of warnings and temporary problems on modern cars, I would consider it fixed if they don't come back. You could go to Autozone and clear the internal codes with a scanner before your next inspection, but I wouldn't bother.
