On the note of spark plugs; realistically how far past the due mileage can one expect to be able to go before possibly risking a burnout of one or more coil packs? Mine are about 2000 miles overdue and yes I need to get them done but I don’t have the money to do it and I don’t have the diy skills to
do it either. So we will have to pay a shop to have it done.

My daughter's 2009 Lexus RX350 made it to 138,600 miles before I replaced the plugs. I looked at the plugs and 4 of the 6 looked like they would last another 5,000 miles. However, 2 of the 6 were pretty shot and my daughter complained about her gas mileage.
In hindsight, I should have replaced the plugs at 130,000 miles. The service manual recommended 120,000 miles.
What is funny is the NGK stated that their iridium plugs only last 60,000 to 80,000 miles but I believe that NGK simply wants you to replace these plugs sooner. BTW, NGK do not recommend using anti-seize on their plugs.
Anytime you are driving the car past 120,000 miles you are taking a risk. The risk increases significantly after 130,000 miles.
I am glad that this job is done. I do not have to worry about my daughter's RX350 for another 8 to 10 years.

yea I will be glad once I get mine done as well so I won’t have to worry about it for another 120,000 which for me would be at the 240,000 mile point
