Default Buying 2007 RX 400H - DTCs

Hi guys,

I have been searching and couldn't find the code I got from this Lexus I'm interested in buying.

It's C1546. Can anyone please give me some information about it?

The other code is C1541.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Vehicle Speed Signal Malfunction

Its the speed signal from the skid control ECU to the Power steering ECU.

Are you referring to the C1546?

Have you driven the vehicle?
Did it read vehicle speed?
What issues did you have or was there any?
Hybrids are a complex system.
These systems communicate with each other thru a gateway.
If one parameter has an issue, it will be a trickle down effect.

My advice if it was my vehicle, i'd clear all the codes and see what comes back. <-- You'll need a scanner that will communicate with all ECU's or a Techstream.
(write down the codes prior to erasing it)
If any codes do appear again, i'd seek a shop that has Hybrid expertise or a Lexus dealer.
