Has anyone ever replaced the faded/oxidaized rear hatch trim chrome piece ?

My trim where the paint sits above the chrome
on the rear trunk is faded

anyone ever pull that piece off to replace ?

was it easy to remove?

What color is your RX330?

I have an used rear tailgate trim molding with no camera opening for sale if you are interested.

What other parts do you need for your RX330?

Lexus actually replaced that trim piece 2x while my RX was under warranty, for fading. These trims are made and painted by 3rd parties and therefore not as reliable as OEM.

Has anyone pulled the rear hatch interior trim off?
I bought the new part from lexus and hoping to replace
this oxidized part myself

You will have to go behind. Take the cover off and you can see the bolts that hold the trim.
