I thought I would reach out to everyone and get some advice.
I bought a 2007 Rx 400h about 4 days in FL. It has 165,000 miles on it.
I test road it and it was in great condition for the year. Most of the service was done at Lexus over the years.
Today I hear a winning f noise when I press the break. I did a lot of teaching and found out it’s the ABS actuator. Found out it’s 12/17 or 150k. This is a $3000 job. I’m sick to my stomach.
Any thing I can do?

First take the car to a different mechanic and get another opinion/estimate. If the second place says it is the ABS, then check with some other places and find the best price. Was the $3000 a Lexus dealer?

I agree. That's insane to spend that.
These units are plentiful used on ebay dirt cheap.
Also, my antilock actuator was acting up too when I first bought my car. Previous owner never flushed the brake fluid. My brake pedal would randomly sink to the floor and my master cylinder and booster were good.
I went to the store and bought 2 large quart size bottles of brake fluid and everyday I drove the car I drained and refilled the brake reservoir with my turkey baster and pulled all that nasty fluid out. It seemed by repeatedly flushing It I got the trash out of the actuator whatever it was in there sticking the valves and ports inside it making my pedal sink.
I wish you much luck.

I looked on eBay and they are 800-900 and I hate to buy one used because paying labor to install and finding out it’s not good would be worse.
I dis t know if anyone had luck going to Toyota to see if they could make an exception due to my situation. .

Going to Toyota would get a no. Going to a Lexus dealer might give you a chance, but generally they follow the terms of the warranty. If you bought the car from a Lexus dealer, this would give you a better chance, but I am not optimistic. You could also try calling the Lexus headquarters.
