i come from a 1st gen rx, and i can’t seem to find any information about the 2nd gen lexus speakers, but all i know is that it sounds way better than the 1st gen. no mark levinson though. how many speakers does the car have? contemplating on upgrading the speakers to better ones.

Well our 2007 RX400h has 9. 3 on the dash. 2 tweeters in the front door/window post. 1 each in the front & rear doors.

You've posed the same question in two different posts, just one day apart. One original response is at https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...n-the-car.html, but in brief, in the 2006 RX330, there are eight.

It sounds as if the 400h introduced a discrete third speaker in the center of the dash, presumably for dedicated Nav feedback, phone audio, or surround effects.

So, pretty sure if it's a 2RX non-ML and you see a dash center speaker, it has nine. If you don't see a center dash speaker, it has eight.

Is not a discreet nav/phone, it's mixed stereo. The nav commands come out of driver door speaker, phone comes out of all front speakers.
