Bizarre Radio/Nav/Lights issue
Hello all
My 2004 RX330 has otherwise been faultless, save a coil pack and routine maintenance, but recently began exhibiting odd and intermittent behaviour linked to the lights/accessory field. The radio had been oddly resetting itself but seemed to have stopped.
I first noticed it some weeks ago when flashing the lights to let someone enter the roadway in front of me. All the instrument cluster went dark, and I think the radio/Nav reset (sorta like a brownout).
Everything came back and I turned on the lights manually to see if it was linked. Same thing. Put on the hazards, pulled over and turned off the car. Dead. Got out, opened the hood and had a look around...and the hazards were on again. Car fired up and went. No issues.
Did it again recently. And then tonight, but randomly fixed itself again!
I'm thinking it could be a high-resistance ground or supply?!
