Short squeak on hot weather start

Checked the forums for this but most seem to be related to serpentine belt problems or cold start. When the temperature warms up to about 80 degrees (very seldom in Victoria
), and I haven't driven the vehicle for several hours, often I'll get a short squeak on start-up. Never does this when the temperature outside is cool. Doesn't seem to matter if the engine is still somewhat warm or cold. Other than it's annoying for a second or so, no other symptoms. I replaced the serpentine belt a couple of months ago as a precaution, but once the temperature went up, the squeak came back. Possible pulley issues? Alternator? Water pump has not been replaced. Vehicle has about 75,000 miles on it. Suggestions would be appreciated. Bob

1. water pump.
2. belt or pulley out of alignment. Easy check is to spray belt with Beltease and if noise went away - there you are. Should have done that before belt replacement.
3. alternator. I am yet to see alternator that does NOT make some sort of a bearing noise.
otherwise, hot=metal expands.

Thanks for the responses. Trying to locate and isolate the squeak is a problem in that I cannot get it to do so on command. It's a very short squeak and only happens when the car has been sitting outside in hot weather but not all the time. When I replaced the original belt a couple of months ago, it was also just a routine maintenance item as well as a tentative solution to the squeak. I followed the instructions in the Lexus service manual for tightening the belt to specs. If the squeak lasted a little longer, I could isolate its source. Maybe eventually it will do so and then it will be easier to diagnose. I'm reluctant to start changing the water pump and/or bearings as right now as it's not a problem just an annoyance. Any other suggestions are welcome especially if you could advise on how to isolate the source of the squeak.
