I recently had my car in for service - pretty major collision damage. Drove the car home and had the light switch on "auto" and my lights did not turn off and it drained the battery. There have been other "quirky" electrical things with the car since I've gotten it back - such as window auto switches not working properly. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Normally (if I remember correctly) the lights would turn off no matter the setting when the power to teh car was turned off. Now, the only way to get them to turn off is have the switch turned to the "off" position.
Any ideas?

Depending upon where the damage was to your vehicle, the wiring could have been compromised which of course, could cause all sorts of issues.
But the easiest one is to do a reset to all your windows, roof, etc. which should have been done by the body shop but often is overlooked. Can't remember exactly but I believe that there is also a setting for the auto lights feature which tells it when to turn the lights on or off depending upon the amount of light. Probably easiest if you took your vehicle into a Lexus dealer to have them reset/check the customization features. Bob
