After doing a bit of searching on the forum, I wasn't able to find any threads on this question, so please forgive me if I missed something.

I just bought this 04 RX330 about two months ago and have noticed a handful of minor issues with it, this one being that both of the driver's side doors squeak, creak and/or squeal when being opened and/or closed. It's incredibly annoying! But it only happens sometimes, and i cannot yet tell if it is associated with relative outdoor humidity at all. Any thoughts on what the heck might be going with these doors?? The passenger side doors sound great - no strange noises at all. What an awful noise, no wonder it's driving you crazy! Get some Grease on the hinges for start.

 

Thanks for the tip mnewxcv. I actually hit them with a bit of WD40 on the plastic/hard rubber linkage that goes into the door, and they've been quiet since. ( That was on Sunday I believe.)

 

....and I used a very thin smear of lithium grease, then wiped it off with a rag... doors did not squeak again until I sold it.
