My gear selector cable went bad and I had to replace it. I didnt have the correct c clip that is installed to keep the cable in the right spot so that the selector can go into each gear correctly, also park and neutral.

I just bought the clip but not sure how to make the adjustment in the correct spit so that I can install the c clip
