I could use a little advice. The Mark Levinson stereo in our '07 RX400h is dead/dying. The car also has (the world's worst) nav. It turns itself off, and then on and then off and then... every 15-20 seconds. Nav/climate unit seems fine. Once I hit the power button so it was off, then it turned itself on again. I assume a circuit board has fried itself. Argh.
Anyone seen this before? I assume I need to replace the stereo control unit. I'm handy with wiring, so don't mind digging in there if I can find decent instructions.
What are my options here? It seems quite integrated as a unit, so not sure if I can just find a kit that takes a double din and integrates nicely with the factory speaker. I dead-ended on Google so far. There's always the junk yard, which seems like my best option, but I haven't looked around yet.
My dream scenario is replace the entire nav/stereo, but it has climate controls built in, so I doubt that's a go.
Your input is appreciated!

Navigation to Non-Navigation downgrade.
This can be done on the RX330 in about an hour or two but I don't know about the RX400h.
