Default 2008 RX350 headlight switch broken/detached

Anyone know how to fix this or do I need to replace the whole switch lever? I can still turn the headlights on and off but pushing in and turning but because of how loose it is anytime I turn the blinker on it turns the lights on or off.

Hi gumball, I see this is your first post so Welcome to club lexus!

The headlight stalk is replaced as a whole unit assembly and availble at autopart stores.

Thanks for the response. Is it relatively easy to replace?

I've done a few on other cars and it was usually a 10 min job but I haven't done one on the
RX350 so I don't know.

Thank you for posting the fix.
Looks like a 10 minute job on this car if I ever need to get in there.

I know this is an older thread, but I didn't want to start a new one. Does anyone know what year the above video is for?

I need to replace the switch on my 2008 RX350 and based on the photo of the switch, it looks like the steering wheel needs to be pulled? Does this item below come apart so you can connect like in the above video or does it need to be installed "around" the steering column?
