Sorry to hear that al503 had so many troubles with the G-35. I had my 2003 Infiniti G-35 6-speed sedan delivered on April 18th, after almost 2 months of waiting. However in almost 8K miles I have exprerience nothing but bliss! I consider it to be quite possibly the worlds most perfect car.

Anyway, my wife ordered a 2004 RX330, and we just picked it up today. It had 12 miles on it. Funny though, because it came off the boat on Sept. 2nd from Japan still, not Canada. But they had others on the lot when we ordered ours a few weeks ago that had been titled that had as few as 2 miles. Weird.

I have questions for a different thread, but I will throw them out here for fun. The difference between the our local infiniti and lexus dealership was night and day. Lexus was no better than a shady used car dealership. Infiniti was the best buying experience I have ever had, far better than I expected. Comment/question two is, how the F$%* can lexus redesign the entire car, yet not figure out how to put a trailer hitch on the thing? The delearship said they should have been shipped the hitches starting in July and they have a list as long as your arm of people who want it....

Hi tbrian,
I'm happy and jealous that you are having a great experience with your G. I have the opposite problem with dealership service. The Infiniti dealer is the most inept that I have had the displeasure of dealing with. I've made a ~175 mile drive to the next closest dealer for service just to avoid the one that is 6 miles away from where I live. I work 6 days a week so I took a vacation day to do this. On the other hand, the Lexus dealer is more than anyone should be able to ask for.

The G is a great car but like a thoroughbred, it's no good without proper care. Please see my post in the RX/MDX/FX thread in this forum for a more in depth explanation (if you haven't already.)

I really enjoy driving both cars. I have a complete ownership experience with the lexus. I have a love hate experience with the G. If you can get a car with very few problems or a dealership who can fix them, the G is golden.
