The main selling point of the Perf. Pack for me is the Access mode, making the RX a little more squat when parked. I also like AFL. I haven't compared it to see how much lower it is to a regular RX.

I agree - I think the height difference is negligable - access mode really doesn't lower the vehicle considerably, I believe the entire air suspension aspect of the Perf Package is somewhat gimmicky - but never-the-less I enjoy employing it when I "show-off" my ride to passengers. The AFL headlights on the other hand are not just cool but quite usefull, especially on dimly lit backroads.

Like what Big Behr mentioned, you can have the dealer install the factory wood steering wheel and shift shifter. Retail on these should be $380.

I have the PP w/Nav (which does not come with the wood wheel and ****). Can you tell me where you received the $380 quote for the wood wheel/shift **** for the RX330? My dealer is quoting me $1,500 for parts and labor for the wheel and ****. Thanks in advance.

mdrx300,
That $380 retail price is for a "factory installed" wood steering wheel and shift ****. You will have to special order a Pef/Nav vehicle to get the wood steering wheel and shift **** installed for that price. I was under the impression that I could get the wood accessories from the dealer for $380, but that is not the case. Price from the dealer would be much higher. Unfortunately this was one deal breaker for the Perf/Nav combo, the other was color choices. My delaer said that the Perf Pack only comes in 2 colors, black, flint, and sliver. My wife wants a different color. So, we ended up getting only Prem Plus/Nav .
Another interesting thing that the dealer mentioned was that West Coast RX330's will come from Japan, and that the East Coast RX330's will eventually come from Canada. Anyone else here this from their dealer?
Sorry about the confusion.

My dealership put in the wood package at the advertised option cost ($380) because they goofed on my preference order. I've no doubt that it cost them a lot more in labor time to replace the whole steering wheel and shift ****.
But it does look great!

I've heard the same thing your dealer told you about west coast RX330's continuing to come from Japan and Canadian built RX330's will be for the east coast.
