When i press the wiper stalk up, it wipes once, but when it's in any other position, the wipers won't turn on at all. the rear wipers operate fine. Where should I start looking? Is there a relay I can test?

If you have the rain sensing wipers, it could be the auto wiper ECU or possibly the wiper switch.

If you don't have the rain sensing wipers, the most likely culprit is the wiper switch.
