Hi all,

thinking of trading in my 98 ES for a 04 RX. any advice will be appreciated.

went down to the dealer and narrow down to 2 packages in Mica (chaco) / lt grey.

Navi with ML or Navi with Prem. Plus. it's $980 difference.
i would like to ask you people with ML if it is worth the money.

I have a RX330 with NAV/ML. I wanted the rear backup camera and they did not have a PP w/NAV car so I had no choice. After having the car for 2 1/2 months, if I had to buy it again, I would choose the PP w/NAV. The ML stereo does not sound as good as the standard stereo on my 96 ES300. The RX does not have enough bass. Take your favorite CD to the dealer and try the stereos on both cars and see if you can tell the difference. If not, I would save the money.

 

I dont know what type of system you had or put in your 96 ES but there can't be anyway to compare it to the Mark Levinson system unless you put in $6,000 aftermarket. Try tweeking the buttons a lil bit.

 

The ML system rocks. Everybody that has listen to mine has just been blown away with the sound quality and presence. I listen to mostly rock so i like alot of bass thumping and the 210 watt ML delivers. It's a definite recommendation.
