Hi.I am asking for advice. Yesterday I picked up a car from a bodyshop. Original color 1C0. Lesus RX 350 2007. Why is the new color different? Only the front fender and the driver's door were painted. Thank you. Jack
It is because the silver paint shade depends on how it cures what the temp is when it is sprayed etc. They should have blended the work into the rest of the car so you did not notice it as much.

This^^^^... The painter could of easily made up a pint & sprayed some color on a paddle to see if it matched the weathered paint. It could have taken a 3-5 tries to get it close to bend it in the the hood/A=pillar & rear door. I'd take it back.....Your the customer......I wouldn't have accepted it looking like that.......Take it back & have them scuff it & reshoot it properly.......No way would I gotten away w/ that kind of work......
