I just installed my SS brake hoses (Goodridge G-stop brakeline kit) which I ordered from http://tirerack.com. I also flushed the brake system w/ new dot3 fluid. The brake pedal doesn't go down as far & is a tad harder as well. The brake hoses were oem w/ 145K miles, so the new hoses make a difference, as well as a brake fluid flush. So $90.00 & a qtr of quality brake fluid w/ a couple hours do make a difference. I'd love to install a BBK on this vehicle, as I'm used to installing BBK's on varies vehicles I've had thru many yrs which I've used http://baer.com as well as http://wilwood.com. Stoptech offers a BBK for the rx which consists of 13'' two piece rotors as 4 piston calipers w/ ss brake hoses, but at two grand, I figured I'd throw quality rotors & pads at it which I went w/ Centric pads/rotors. Next time, I'm going w/ the Hawk talon rotors, #HTC4943.....
