This is my first post. For a long time I've been eyeing the 2nd gen RX and the 350 looks to be my favourite option. I am moving to (not travelling to) Spain this year (from the UK) and would like to register my car there on Spanish plates.

Due to the Spanish having left hand drive cars and the Brits using RHD, typically the headlight beam pattern 'kick up' will dazzle oncoming traffic and normally cars will need to have their headlight units swapped over to LHD models. BUT my limited research suggests some Lexus models, perhaps including the 2nd gen RX350, uses HIDs and has a completely flat beam pattern, thus the headlight units on US, EU, and UK models will be identical. Any thoughts? I'd be saving myself up to €1000 if this is the case.

If anyone is wondering why not buy a car in Spain - they are 20-40% cheaper in the UK!
