What is with the different cabin filters? I ordered part number 87139-33010 and was sent part number 87139-YZZ03. My old one was 33010 and the material was thicker than the new one I received.
I bought and paid for 33010 and it was $41 while the one I received was $10 cheaper. What gives? I contacted the store and they said Lexus did a 'supersession' on this part. What does that mean?

Next time just buy cabin air filter at Amazon or Ebay... don't buy OEM - don't waste money... you can buy $16 Hepa filter from Bosch for example...
PS: I do buy OEM filter for engine only

Walmart sells Fram CF10132 $12.00
I think that is equivalent to OEM ??
Please note all Air-Handling systems are designed for specific filter flow.
Tighter/Denser the filter harder the fan has to work not to mention the stress when filter clogs.
This applies to homes also much as we all like Hepa and 3M filters.
