Default An odd automatic window question

My dog often has her head out the window and a couple of times I've hit auto-up on her window before realizing her head was out and stopping it in time. I don't want to test for a window safety stop with my arm (or her neck), or risk damage by using a piece of wood. Sort of a dumb question but I assume there is an auto-stop for safety if something is in the way? How strong/gentle is the window before this is activated?
Some 20 years ago a buddy of mine got his head stuck as the driver was messing around and the window motor kept running, could've done serious damage if the window was on his trachea. We were dumb high-school guys.
That was an older vehicle though. This is a 2009 RX350.

Just open the window for your dog AND then turn off all windows (except driver's) with LOCK button.

That's a good idea to remind me to check the dog but my question remains whether there's a safety feature in case something is in the way? And if so, how safe is it?
I'd think they'd plan for a kid's hand to be in the way at least.

I suspect there is but I have no idea for sure- maybe somebody knows.
If you decide to be the guinea pig and find out maybe you can share your findings with us.

IMSQ +1 had good idea in pic above, never thought of that...

I may just have to be the guinea pig, with video of course...I've almost caught my dog's neck a few times now which is scary...it's a new-to-me RX so I'm not used to the auto-up windows.

Yes, the power windows have a jam protection feature. Despite the many admonitions in the owner's manual to NOT stick an appendage in the window to test the jam protection, the service manual says to test it by sticking a wooden hammer handle in there. The window should reverse.
