Rear transaxle leak
Hey guys, I am in a bid of a bind. I noticed fresh oil stains on my garage floor today and checked underneath and noticed that there appears to be a minor ATF leak from the rear transaxle case.
It's not a bad leak yet. However, since it will be a few months until I can have it properly fixed, is there seal additive that I can use to temporarily seal this for a few months until I am in a better position to have a shop repair the leak?

I'm not sure it can work in your case because I'm not exactly sure what's leaking on your car, but Permatex makes Spray Sealant Leak Repair.
It's not an additive but a spray for the exterior.
You need to locate the leak and clean the area very well. Then this spray comes out very thin and kind of messy, but dries up as a clear rubbery coating.

For sure I'd be checking the level & top off the rear diff ........Either a rear cover, pinion seal or one of the axle seals......

exactly! because u definitely dont want your diff running dry as that will destroy the pinion gears at which point u are talking a several thousand dollar fix instead of just a "few" bucks give or take.
