Dog and the RX330
Ok i have a problem with getting my dog into the RX330. She's never had trouble with the other cars, but she doesn't like to go near the RX... is it the size of the car? my dog is small really small, but she always liked going for rides.
Now with the RX, Berry (my dog) is reluctant to go near it. How can i get her to overcome this? i've sat in the car with her for 30mins soothing her playing with her but in the end when she gets out of the car she runs away from it.. she's especially scared of the electronic rear hatch.
anyone with similar problems?

I can think of a few things:
1. New car smell. We may like the new car smell but for a fancy nose like most dogs, it may be quite overwhelming... Keep the windows cracked open with the dog in the car.
2. My dog was not too keen about riding in the rear hatch of our RX300, being used to ride on the back seat of an Altima! Too far for comfort! I took one of her blanket and spread it over the rear hatch compartment. She is OK now.
3. Have someone to ride on the back seat, with the dog, while you go for short rides. Make sure you bring a few treats (my dog loves "cherios") and have fun at the end of the short ride.
Good luck.

well i spent 30 mins in the car with the dog comforting her and playing with her yesterday. Now she's more at easy when travelling. The only problem is when i put her in the boot she jumps and climbs over the back seats into the front
also she can't jump into the car coz it's a bit high for her... she's use to jumping into the IS200 which was lower than legal ried height :P
