Default Windshield wiper fluid loss

We put windshield wiper fluid in the container but it never got full. No fluid dripped onto the driveway. The low fluid light went off but came back on after 10 minutes of driving. Ideas, anyone?

Wow, your sure quick 'bout using all that squitter fluid LOL....If its not dripping or leaking then it seems like you need to add more.

When my daughter gets back we’ll check it again. I have been reading and there’s no clear cut explanation. Ironically, I had the same thing happen with my MB 300SE years ago. Odd. Very odd.

After reading more we learned that the reservoir holds about 1-1/4gal. So, we got another bottle, put it in and-voila-now it drips on the driveway. The search is on, now that we know it’s not evaporating at a scorched sun rate!

Spoke to the service guy today. He said there are nooks and crannies in the reservoir that the fluid needs to find so it could take a few additions to get things settled. WE made an appt to bring it in if needed but the first fill took about 2 cups I'd say. The next day it took about a healthy cup. Today it took 1/2 cup and I drove the car and it is holding at completely full. So the service guy was right it appears. I'll watch it the next couple days but hoping it resolved itself and I can cancel the appt.

Got the car Tuesday and wow--really impressed on a number of fronts. Will provide a fuller assessment once I have some miles and road trips on it.
