Default 2009 rx350 maintenance mileage intervals

Looking for maintenance mileage recommendations for changing fluids on the 2009 rx350. Transmission, rear differential, transfer case, etc... Miles between changes. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply and yes I did a search and could not find the info I needed. I was mainly wondering what "you" Lexus owners do for these fluid changes mileage wise. Just like for engine oil, Lexus says to change every 5,000 miles but I personally like to do 3,000.

well u can change them whenever u feel is long enough but they definitely obviously need to be changed on a regular basis otherwise bad things can happen. My indy shop i use for oil changes reccomends transmission, power steering and brake fluid be changed every 30,000 miles; coolant 50,000 miles as long as its "long life coolant". I had been doing my oil changes when the maint. reqd indicator goes solid; but i changed it so im doing it when the indicator just starts to flash and then goes off.

I'm a big fan of 30k miles transmission services and I've seen the inside of many trans pans...
Brake fluid can look new in the reservoir but might look like coffee when bleeding the calipers when all the trash pours out., personally I dony really want to replace my brake acctuator from getting clogged up so highly recommend doing this service too.

Two really great points, Auto trans fluid/filter changes at 30K w/ cleaning the magnets as they're there for a reason & its not all that popular as many ppl don't think about flushing the old brake fluid out w/ new dot3....Since your there, I'd also drain & fill the transfer case as well as the rear end, which takes a qtr each, then that should keep you going for a long while.....I used a gallon of Valvoline Maxlife, a Wix trans filter, 2 qtrs of 75/90 Royal Purple diff oil.....I'd also get a http://dorman.com steel oil cooler line kit as well. Yea even if it already has had the recall hoses, as those are still rubber, just a matter of time....Use a synthetic oil & a quality filter ever 3-5K as changing the oil/filter is cheap maintenance vs another motor......

I change the engine oil every 5k miles, with filter. Trans/diff/power steering at 30k. Radiator at 50k. Break fluid every 2 years.

Every year change the air and ac filters.

I dont recall ever checking to see whether my oil cooler line is metal or rubber but i dont think it is metal. what is the easiest way to see this line and how hard is it to change out? if mine still has the rubber line even though it was part of the recall which on mine was done back in 2010; I know it would be wise to replace it with the metal one and i do have a place that if i buy it online will install it for me for a nominal fee which hopefully should be no more than 50 bucks.

Matt, I replaced my oil cooler line myself. You can see it by taking off the plastic cover below the front bumper. Easy to do to check out the hoses. Here is a description on doing it. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...eplacment.html also a good video that I used.
It took me about 3 hours to do start to finish taking my time.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like around 30,000 miles for transmission, rear diff. and transfer case is a good standard which I think I will use.

I run Mobile 1 extended performance full synthetic engine oil for 1 year or 7500 miles in my 09 rx350 and both my 04 and 08 gx470. All 3 have had transfer case and different fluid changed at about 50k intervals. My 09 has about 113k and I'm getting ready to do the Trans fluid and filter for the first time. The fluid is still cherry red and smells sweet. Radiator fluid I do at about 50k or 4 years.
