Hello! I have a 2004 RX330. Bought with only the valet key.
I bought an aftermarket remote key on amazon, the VIS cable, and techstream from amazon.
I went into techstream, reset the immobilizer, programmed a new key, and have had issues ever since.
In the first 15 min programming the new key, everything was fine, the car started, etc.
I went back out an hour later - and the car wouldn't turn over, the security light is out. Then the battery completely died
I now jumped the car, and the key started the car no problem, but after awhile, the car isn't turning over again.
Did I not program the key correctly? The remote also is not working, and the car isn't turning over after awhile of the car being off.
Any advice appreciated.

Get your battery load tested, most any parts store that sells car batteries will do this for free. The batteries in your remote could also be shot.

Could it be the ECU? Should I buy a new battery to test it?

Have both battery and alternator checked out. Could be a coincidence but with this cold snap affecting most of the US, batteries are flopping across the board, I replaced (or warrantied) two semi-new batteries for family this week alone. A weak alternator only compounds the issue.
If the car starts on both keys, your programming was successful, it's pretty cut-throat. For the remote buttons on the keys, it also has to be programmed separately from the immobilizer and is a different module in Techstream, can't think of it off top of my head as it's been awhile but google it.

Make that 3 votes for proving the battery and charging system first.
Like mentioned above if you can start the car your key is programmed so I'd get the FOB done next.
After that a parasitic draw test may be in order but personally I wouldn't bother until I can lock the doors with the fob and set alarm cuz then I now it's all tight.
