How does a 16" wheel look on an RX330/350? The reason I ask is that I really like the chrome wheels from the ES300/330, and I'm wondering if they'd look OK or too small.

These are the rims I'm referring to:

I'm partial to chrome rims especially when matched with the chrome door handles of the later 2nd Gen RXs.

It would probably be noticeably small. Stock wheels are 17" for these RX's, which look fine, and the 18" wheel option fill out the wheel-well nicely.
A 16" wheel would look too small in the wheel-well, in my opinion.

My suggestion: Find some "Pebble Beach Edition" wheels. They're not chrome but they're a nice dark graphite color.

It won’t clear the brakes.

Lexus offered a chrome like finish option for 2009 (and likely other 2nd gen model years) in 18” size. I’d stick to trying to find a set of those if you like the look. Other option would be oem wheels that have been remanufactured in chrome (google rx350 chrome wheels)

Yeah I think you're all right, they'd be too small. One other avenue I could pursue is having a shop chrome plate the stock wheels. I think I've seen a few ads for that type of service.

I would love to see Chrome rims on my car but don't want to put the $$$ in an old car.

But yeah I have thought about it since my stock 18"'s are kinda boring dull silver.

Best off getting a set of aftermarket wheels w/ a 20mm offset....TSW's or Vision Legend 5's........
