I’ve used a couple of different modules to add Bluetooth to my 2004 BMW X.3 and my 2003 Volkswagen eurovan. They plug into a spot in the back of the stock radio where a CD changer would plug-in and maintain some level of steering wheel control functionality . I have not been able to find one yet for my 2006 RX 400 H with the base radio (no NAV).
Anyone found a compatible module to add Bluetooth?
GROM BT3 or USB3+Bluetooth kit. Plug and play. I myself used an older IPD4 with bluetooth kit on my former RX330 and replaced the cigarette lighter with a USB socket.
I have a 2004 RX330 with the stock radio and have installed a GTA Car Kit a couple of years ago. It was an easy install, access Bluetooth by selecting DISC and comes with a microphone I installed in my A-Pillar to use my phone. The website is below

I used to get trouble with connecting bluetooth for an old car that is not support bluetooth and only Radio, CD available. After I found this product, the problem is solve perfectly and it works great without changing anything from your car.
THIS IS WHAT I WANNA SHARE WITH YOU :
Bluetooth FM transmitter
This is work perfectly. You only need to install it throw smoking electric devices things (I dont know what it's call in english).
First, you turn on Radio and switch it to FM mode. Find any Fm zone that you think it's not available to any channel. For example 95.9 Mhz.
Then, you plugged in this devices on the image above, wait for 5s, then hold the Call button untill it blinking the number of Mhz(For the first installation, as I remember, its 87.5Mhz in default mode). Then turn the button CALL (Green) clockwise to raise the Mhz on the devices to the same Frequency on your car radio. It would match. After it match, you only need to connect your phone with the bluetooth from that device.
This is the example of how this device works. I think you should buy Baseus product rather that the product from the video that I show you below. It works great.

this is the link that I bought this product. It available in Vietnam. But if you look for something like this from America. You should look for it in amazon. I searched for it, but Amazon doesn't have the same one (which is newest model of Baseus Bluetooth FM transmitter.). It only show this one. I think it would be enough for you to enjoy music on your car speakers.
I bought one of those little gadgets even before I took delivery of the car because no Bluetooth audio was a bad thing! It sounds just ok. A bit monotone and the EQ is odd. I adjusted my Spotify EQ settings and it helps a little bit it’s not great full sound. It tries to take over the phone part of the Bluetooth from the car sometimes so I plug it in after I start the engine. I want to eventually switch to the VAIStech SL3b-L...I’m hoping it will be better stereo sound.
