2008 Lexus RX350 ignition locked and key won't turn
in the life of my 2008 Lexus RX350 the ignition locked up 11 times (from ~ 160K miles to 198K miles)
It is definitely a design flaw and this YouTube poster captured it on video
are there any others that are affected?

I see your steering wheel is cocked to the side, not straight. My toyota rav4 does that when the steering wheel is cocked to the side. By turning the steering wheel, the ignition key will then work. try that.

I think it is a defect, a serious defect and Toyota/Lexus must recall on this problem. Imagine having 11 problems over 4 years of period. When ignition key does not turn, you need to call a towing truck. Frustration that owners have to go through is something Toyota/Lexus MUST consider and issue a recall, if they want their customers to buy their product again.
